And don't say when it needs it either.I always try to cut on Thursday so its done for the weekend.I hate wasting weekend time doing yardwork.Our odd Ohio weather sometimes throws a rain shower our way,but always try to shoot for Thursday.Got almost an acre of yard and then big section around the field that gets mowed twice a month.Man I hate mowing the grass.

I don't mow anymore because i'm in an apartment now but when I did live in a house back in the day I used to mow on Tuesday nights after supper.
My yard took about 2-1/2 hours to mow with a push mower (we never had a rider) -
Once a month, (if we're lucky), we have a gardener mow the lawn and trim the hedges, and collect the leaves. It's been raining a lot so the grass is getting a bit high."Do you believe, you believe in magic?

Never, since I live in an Apartment. I haven't cut the grass since I was in High School.

Never. My husband mows it during the weekend, but it's such a small strip it doesn't take long...probably 10 minutes. The majority of gardening is done on the hillside. I'm there almost everyday killing dandelions and deadheading.Those who look outside dream. Those who look within awake.

when I have time..lol
i try to do it weeknights as well though so I can have the weekend free. I hate mowing the lawn and yard work in general. I am really rough on my yard equipment so it does not tend to last all that long.....if the mower will pass over it I run it over, period. unfortunately that menas my ride on got killed and I am back to using a push mower, which takes about 90 minutesComment
