Having problems with Internet Explorer 8

Everything seems to work just fine once I open the first IE 8. I can open a dozen more with no problems. But, if I ever close all of the IE 8 windows and then try to open one again, I get a (Windows is Not Responding) message. I did a simple upgrade from IE 7 to 8.

Anyone have any ideas how I can fix this?

I HATE Explorer 8. Have you noticed you can't open links yet? I had to hit my control key EACH time to open any link...and even then sometimes it wouldn't work. I ended up switching to Firefox. ONE HUNDRED TIMES better and very fast! I strongly recommend you switch! You won't regret it.

To borrow the solution from one of my favorite commercials:

            Go into your autoexec.bat file...

            Go into your config.sys file...

Seriously, firefox is the way to go. All versions of Internet Explorer $Uck! Just ask anyone who programs websites. You get them working in all browsers and still have buggy problems in IE. A lot of web coders refuse to debug for IE because it is such a pain. They figure that if the user wants the site to work correctly, they will get a REAL browser.

I switched to Firefox. Seems to have fixed the problem.

All the text and colors look kinda wonky though.

Don't you mean that IE's colors and fonts look wonky, Firefox's are fine.

Get the IE Tab extension for Firefox, but just STOP using IE, in any flavor or iteration.

                      IE's nickname is Internet Exploder!

IE8 was a complete disaster Firefox is definitely the way to go....and remember to delete all IE versions you have so your computer never gets the erge to add any IE updates.
