I also love Defender, Donkey Kong (Jr), Tempest, Tron, and Centipede.
Galaga is the only game I play now...I don't own Playstations, Xbox's, Wii's, etc...I'm just not into modern stuff...it's all old school for me.
Wow, Hec, that's pretty cool! It that outside of your cottage?
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."
Spy Hunter---I remember as a kid going through this whole plan in my head how I would steal one from the arcade.
Mina is the world's first Paranormal Petsitter in the new middle-grade book series by Gary Buettner, MONSTER PETS, coming in FALL 2014 from EMBY KIDS. Spooky adventure that's perfect reading for kids 8-12 https://www.facebook.com/monsterpetsbooks?ref=hl
I was really drawn to vector graphic games for some reason.
I was a bad-a.s.s at Battlezone. I played a sit-down game called Tail Gunner, a WWI biplane game called Red Baron and a sword fighting game where you are looking straight down on the combatants. All vector graphic games. DOubt there are many of these still operational.
Other favs are DIg Dug, Crazy CLimber and Frenzy, the one with the dual joysticks, one for movement direction and the other for firing direction.

I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.
If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

Spy Hunter
Donkey Kong
Star Wars
Return of the Jedi
Rolling Thunder
Gauntlet
Drains Lair
just to name a few....also loved Satans Hollow when it came out.
I thought I was the only guy in the world whose favorite was Centipede. I loved Galaxian and Space Invaders too.

I was pretty good at Pac-Man but I think my all-time favorite was Centipede.
Other favs:
Dig Dug
Donkey Kong
Space Invaders
Defender
Tempest
Pirahna
Super Pac-Man
Ms. Pac-Man
Spy Hunter
Dragon's Lair
Firetruck (I think that's what it was called)
Balloon Man (again I think that's what it was called)
Asteroids
Donkey Kong Jr.
Oh, and I can't forget Rygar....I pumped more quarters into that game than probably any other...eventually got to the end.
Space Invaders was the first to capture my eye, along with Asteroids, so basic now, but crazy when they first came out.
I remember seeing Pacman for the first time in the Menlo Park Mall in Edison, NJ. I went through my $1 quickly, and my mom watched me play the last game, and she was so fascinated by it she pumped about $5 more in quarters into the machine so i would keep playing. Pac-Man Fever was truly an appropriate name for it.
