    Planet of the Apes in China?

    Perhaps! Anyway, I'm excited. Even though it's Monkey King, I am still stoked about seeing this film since I just love Hong Kong martial arts movies...
    The film will be called "A Journey to the West." It's going to be spectacular if it's supposed to be like apes meet House of Flying Daggers!! I wonder if the ape's makeup is foam latex or gel silicone??? This promises to be way better than whatever bilge is made up by Hollywood prequels.

    1:9 scale ape's new suit for Cornelius;

        Looks pretty interesting, there have been many HK/Chinese movies involving the Monkey King as he is a pretty popular legend over there. I like the two films that were made with Stephen Chow (Chinese Odyssey Parts 1 and 2). They have tons of martial arts action and goofy comedy, plus Chow dressed up in monkey makeup. Good stuff!
