Jalapeno Popper Burger from Sonic

This is why we are all so different.

While we are on the same boat on McDonald's fries...we are not on Wendy's...I hate Wendy's...lol. They have IMO...one of the blandest and soggiest burgers anywhere...and I hate that stupid square patty...lol. The last time I went to Wendy's was like four years ago...perhaps their burgers have changed...I dunno...I might try them again soon...to see if I'm right or wrong.

I think I can make sense of this. In my whole life, I have eaten in exactly five Wendy's locations. Four of those are in Oklahoma City and one was in Japan. I suspect the four OKC locations, two of which have always been here in my experience, are probably owned by the same person or group. They are consistently good, but outside of the one Japanese-owned one I went to in Japan (where I only got fries and Frosties because I was eating Mos Burgers by the ton over there) I never felt compelled to get Wendy's...if I even saw them.

When I lived in Florida, I was too busy eating What-A-Burger and Krystal to mess with any other fast food burger joint.

I probably judge Sonic unfairly since I have always had one nearby (seriously, I can remember eating at Sonic when I was three because there was one just up the road from where my Dad worked at the time) and I remember them being much better when they were local. They really kind of **** me off because I live about 20 minutes from their corporate headquarters and they almost always disappoint in some area of the meal.

You'd think they would all be tight around here when "the boss" could drop in at any moment.

Of course if this was all up to Farley, we'd all be eating salads with shrimp on them or chicken. Even there's a Sonic right down the street from Type 3 Toys...

I frequently go to one fast food place for a burger and then swing by McDonald's for fries, if I am in an area of town where fast food is clustered together.

I'll take just about any burger over McDonald's, but I'll take McDonald's fries over almost any others.

Wendy's is just about the only fast food place where I will get a burger AND fries.....topped off with a Frosty, of course.

You know...McDonald's new Angus burgers...especially their mushroom one...is really great...you should try one...but then again...I love their Quarter Pounder with cheese...lol.

Another good burger joint is Jack N the Box...they have a great selection, and their fries are really good too...the problem...Jack N the Box is not available everywhere...but it's a fairly mid size burger chain...you might have them...I dunno.

Amen! Nothing is better than nicely marbled beef. And the Japanese sure know how to serve that stuff.

Besides...filet mignon is sooooooo overrated (very tender but lacks the marbelization for that truly awesome taste)...and overpriced too.

Nothing beats either a rib-eye...or a porterhouse steak...nothing.

Now...if they are from Kobe beef...then it's like eating directly from God's table...

Believe it or not...I go to fast food joints no more than twice a week.

This past Sunday I went to In N Out...mmm...I always order the Double Double with lots of extra hot yellow peppers, onions, and pickles...sometimes I do feel the need for grilled onions...that's why I order the Animal Style once in a while. I love their burgers, so fresh...having said that...I'm not in love with their fries...they are kinda in pieces and plain tasting...McDonald's fries blows them away...that's why I like going to Micky Dees too...mainly because of their fries...they are just addicting...lol...

Well if it's any consolation my daughter MORE than makes up for all the jalapenos that I will never eat. She puts them on EVERYTHING...even in spaghetti sauce.

I had one earlier tonight and it was good, probably the best thing I've ever got at Sonic. Their fries do suck though.

Tim, next time get the tater tots. They're WAY better then the fries. ; )

Because I've eaten fast food like 5 times in the past week already..LOL
Try not to eat it that much but soemtimes just don't feel like cooking.
