New Bionic Woman Starts Tonight

I can't finding that on my TV daily. What channel, time and date that'll come out?

Oh, I saw that on Sci-Fi channel last Friday night at 6pm. That's pretty good but I'm not interest it.

I wish the original Bionic Woman is back and create new TV series.

After watching the first episode the wife I looked at each other and said man that sucked!

It didn't even strike our interests enough to consider giving it one more episode.

Apparently I'm in the minority here, because I'm really enjoying the show.

I guess it's an Arkansas thing Joe - because I like it too. Mildly. It's not the best thing on tv, but it beats all the reality shows by a mile.

And..I didn't start watching it expecting it to be like the original series. Everything I read said it wouldn't be like it. Lyndsay Wagner was Jamie Sommers in a completely different show during another time era. You just can't compare the two shows.

I'm definitely curious to see where it's going. And Katie is really easy on the eyes I must say


Life and Journeyman are BOTH much better shows IMO, but I'm sticking with Bionic Woman.

^ I was just going to say that, UOBob . Katie Sackoff is THE standout in this series, IMO. I never saw her before this, but she steals every scene she's in.

I doubt I'll be watching the show long-term, but then I didn't think I'd be watching this week either! *shrug*

I told my wife last night that with the whole first bionic woman plot line it seems like a second season for a show. you know, the firstt season we developed the character and show. she fought bad guys. by the second season we were running out of story lines and wanted a new plot element - let's add a first bionic woman.

My VCR cut this off after 20 mins. I'm not sure if it ran out of tape or if the custom quality-sensor I installed kicked in..

The 20 mins I saw seemed a touch sharper than the previous eps, but not by much. I didn't care that I missed the rest.

The best thing about the bionic woman was that I may not have given the show after it a chance if not for it's placement following BW.

Same thing here. Last night I kept waiting for BW to end so I could watch Life.

Last nights BW was crap, if BW is only going to fight evil BW why have it be a BW show ... it's just a over hype wanna be Kung-Fu show, but without the cool stuff that goes along with a Kung-Fu show I'm mad at the fact that they think this show is worthy of the name Bionic Woman

But the storyline was all over the place, it moved too fast and the opening scene was just too violent. Personally, I think it belongs on tje 10pm time slot b/c I have a feeling some of my students are going to watch.

I just came across this earlier post.

I agree: I was a bit surprised by the intensity of the pilot. I think they're trying too hard to distance it from the original series and that, ultimately, could alienate those tuning in for nostalgic reasons.

I also, as someone posted earlier, hope this leads to the DVD releases of the original Bionic Woman. Why do some US series come to DVD faster in the UK and elsewhere? I don't understand. The same thing happened with Cagney and Lacey. *shrug*

I'm with ya 100%! I feel the same way. Watched the first, but even that episode didnt interest me all that much. I believe i'm fully done with the new show!

I didn't even watch the 2nd episode. Nostalgia got me to watch the first, but you can't feed me crap and expect me to eat it, just for "old time sake". Blah!
