    Atlantis set to launch

    32nd mission in 25 years, this is the final one for Atlantis and 3rd to the last one period. I will be back in a few mins with pictures from my back yard.

        It's kind of amazing (and a bit sad) NASA still uses the Space Shuttle.

        It seems so old now considering there were Space Shuttles flying when there were Mego's on store shelves.

          your lucky, it was too cloudy to see it from here. I have been in and out since the launch and dont even see the vapor trail.

              The shuttle program comes to an end after 2 more launches. This craft was way ahead of it's time and still is in the world. Now we have to pay Russia 50 mill a pop to get to the space station, in there POC soyuz that was designed in the 60's.
