Or the Monkees ones.. STILL wondering how those cheap record surfaces survived being packed in delivery boxes.. They still always seemed to play just fine.

I'll buy whatever strikes my fancy, and the prize can influence that. Ironically, neither the Reese's nor Lucky Charms nor Fruity Pebbles in my pantry had a prize, but I just pulled a race car out of the Cheerios.

re: Happy Meal toys - we're big fans, and often try for complete sets of ones we like. For lunch, I'm happy to eat 2 hamburger Happy Meals with apple dippers & low-fat chocolate milk. Naturally, I get grief from my coworkers, but that stops when they see me race a light-up Hot Wheels car across my desk.

I knew a guy some time ago now who used to pour beer on captain crunch. Man the thought still turns my stomach.

We might have had this conversation before even...hey, you and Lonnie
can scoff, but at least it keeps me in the "cereal game" somewhat.

Ain't it the truth? Cap'N Crunch can destroy a palette in 3 spoonfuls.

Nothing comes close to the toys that used to be in the boxes back in the old days.

I mostly eat store brand corn flakes.

I consider it a good thing NOT to find a SURPISE in the box

If I need the cereal, and it has a toy I think moderately cool, or would be a good item to give to someone, I'll choose the size that has the prize over least expensive (by volume). Otherwise, unless Captain Crunch starts giving away cool glow in the dark toys again, I'm not buying it more than once every three years due to its palette scraping potential.
