I found this on youtube. The 1st part of the commercial is great, then when they get to the new Fantastic Four line the commercial goes downhill. Whoever wrote that script had no clue about the Fantastic Four.

And of course the Falcon is "that great BLACK super hero". Man how times have (thankfully in this case) changed.

On the POTA ad, they said Galen was the grandson of Cornelius.

Speaking as a black person, I'm sure Mego thought they were doing something good by referring to the Falcon as That great Black superhero. They did make a point to put black kids in their ads, (Action Jackson, Lainie), during a time where there really weren't a lot of black kids in advertising. And remember, this wasn't that long after Dr. King's death, so people were still learning tolerance and acceptance.
