    Family Guy Star Wars

Anybody watch this? I wasn't sure what to expect on something that has been pretty well mined for comedy but I found myself laughing throughout.

I think the Peter/Chris fight about Robot Chicken at the end was funnier than anything I've seen on Robot Chicken.

    Didn't see it.

    Didn't even know about it...

However, I really WANT to see it now that ya mentioned it

The Green/McFarlane etc. etc. "team(s)" have not only made the funniest
STAR WARS related comedy in my opinion---but that STAR WARS material
on both shows they are involved with is simply among the funniest stuff I've
ever seen-----STAR WARS related or otherwise
(I guess it really pays to be a Star Wars geek in this regard)

My expectations are thru the roof, simply because they hit home runs like 80%
of the time with this stuff

I got to see the second half hour. Herbert/Obi Wan going into "I've Had The Time of My Life" was a trip.

I liked Chris/Luke's response to Lois/Leia about being "too fat to be a stormtrooper".

Good episode. I liked the Robot Chicken one as well. RC tends to run either really hot or really cold with me.

Since FG is on like 3 times in a 2 hour period in the late evening, my wonderful wife has become obsessed with it and our DVR is packed with it.

I have watched more Family Guy in that last week than I have in my life. I must say that I had been missing out.

The line Chris (Luke) delivers to his Mom (Leia) in the detention cell was probably the single greatest SW humor line EVER.

The biggest laugh for me was Meg's brief but perfectly timed arrival.

Very funny. I also liked Darth Stewie's real estate/Death Star repair discussion.

I saw it and thought it was hit and miss compared to the usual level of funny on Family Guy. I only found it funny in spots and only one or two real belly laughs over the course of the hour (the aforementioned Luke and Leia in her Death Star cell, for one) and the rest was so-so or just unfunny (Is it just me, or was the whole Quigmire-PO and R2-Cleveland shtick just not funny? And where was Joe?) It may be just my love of Star Wars and the incessant buildup by the networks let my expectations fly too high. My opinion is that Robot Chicken's Star Wars beat this by a mile, and the discussion of that at the end was hilarious. The opening scrolling paragraphs were a scream, and the shot for shot animation was really neat though.

Also, Peter's Star Wars theme is my new ringtone.

Am I the only one who thought Chris should have brought up Peter being on Robot Chicken during their little debate?
