    who likes 80's hair metal?

    You're welcome:

    Motor City Rock 1980-1990

Many mp3's and other goodies. Also the only place I've ever found anything on the Gregg Stryker Band. Unfortunately, they don't have the song I'm looking for.

Cool flyer section. There's some old punk and hardcore hiding in that collection.

The question should be - who doesn't like 80's hair metal ?!

            ZING!

            >The grunge scene was the begining of the end for the hair bands.

Yeah. By the late 80's the metal scene was pretty bloated and played out; but I really, REALLY hated grunge. Too whiney for me.

I'm listening to Twisted Sister right now! I even still have the long, long hair...and black biker jacket with studs and spikes.
No Butt-rock! No white lion or poison! no bon jovi!
Metallica's first three albums, Slayer, Death Angel, Van Halen (pre 1985), Whitesnake, Twisted Sister, Motley Crue's first two albums, Alcatrazz, Exodus...

Awesome list of bands there! I miss the Metal days. I still listen to most of the bands you mentioned. Recently i picked up the new " Scorpions" Its pretty solid! New Ratt is also getting good reviews. I met Dee Snider in Las Vegas, he a down to earth cool dude. I also met Bon Jovi-Jon- he's a prick, low class wise ***.

I dig 80s hair metal....primarily Bon Jovi, Poison, Whitesnake, GNR (yes I consider them hair metal ), Cinderella, Twisted Sister...heck, even Nelson (though they were late 80s/early 90s I think)

I'm not big on 80's hair bands but I did like that song Silent Lucidity -- reminded me of Pink Floyd ... I forgot who sang it.

Nirvana rocked too. I enjoyed them and Pearl Jam as well. But nothing takes me back like 80's hair metal - it was the soundtrack of my teen years
