So Waters is trotting out The Wall again?

Last time was the fall of the Berlin wall era - early 90's, I think.

I wonder why he wants to pull that out and tour with a mammoth production again? I would rather see a smaller intimate set like the Radio KAOS thing.

But, no matter. It should be a seriously grand spectacle. And if you cannot afford the seats, I am sure there will be a DVD release.

Yeah, I saw the listing on the marquee this weekend at the Tacoma Dome.
Not sure why friggin' Tacoma and not Seattle. Guess it's a cheaper venue and bigger capacity.
I'm going to opt out seeing this tour and go check out Billy Idol, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Chicago and the Casino!! (j/k)

I love Roger Waters, but he's basically done nothing relevant since Amused To Death.

The Wall is just him doing the oldies circuit again like In The Flesh with a new name.

The man has so much talent but he's wasted it these past 20 years

I would go in a second. It's all his work and I'm sure it will be one heck of a show.

He's going to be at The Staples Center here in LA, and while I hate that place, I might just do it so I can drink $13 beers and keep yelling for him to play "Astronomy Domine". Miss that Syd guy

A friend of mine's band covers that tune these days.

A band I knew years ago used to play LUCIFER SAM all the time.

                Its a great riff.

Floyd isn't known for their more upbeat stuff but that's a real rockin' tune
that defines an era of Floyd in my opinion.

                  That cat's something I can't explain!

If anyone in LA is gunna do this show, PM me. I might seriously find my way there.

I like yelling "Free Bird" at concerts

I'm so psyched. I just bought floor seats to this in Houston where my best friend from junior high lives, we were massive Wall fans. Once in a lifetime experience!

I'm a huge Floyd fan, but i'm not afraid to admit the Wall is probably one of my least liked Floyd albums --- and that's strange considering one of my fav albums is The Final Cut.

There's just something about the Wall that turns me off.
It could be because to me it seems like one of Pink Floyds most juvenile geared and also over-produced albums.

I'm not afraid to admit that it meant a LOT to me when I was 14, 15, 16, my formative years. So the juvenile criticism doesn't bother me, it makes perfect sense. It's pretty common for Pink Floyd snobs to say that.

Don't look so frightened, this is just a passing phase -- one of my bad days
