    Help Fixing A Light

I just picked up an old soda can flicker light. The bulb is painted a translucent green, but some of the color has chipped off. (You can see it in the pic, but its worse in person) Does anyone know what type of paint or coating can be used on these bulbs? It would have to deal with the heat and still be translucent.

    Thanks in advance.

What's the wattage of the bulb. If it's 25-40 the temp may not be a big deal. When I was racing we used a flex agent paint made for lexan. It's similar to the stuff they use on the bumper covers on real cars but even more flexible. I believe Pactra still makes one. You can get them in "candy" colors that are translucent. It's around $3-$4 a can. Check somewhere that sells bodies for performance level radio controlled cars and make sure it's for lexan. They will actually say "candy" in the name.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

I assume that it might be sold in a hobby shop, right? I'll have to look around.

        Hmmmm....

You're probably better off looking for a new bulb.

Any one that deals with RC cars should have lexan spray paint. Pactra was the main one when I was racing. If the store does custom airbrushing they might just paint it for you for a cheaper charge. You just have to make sure it's one of the "candy" colors.
