The Taco Dorito thing threw me off because I was positive that they are still in the store. I just came back from grocery shopping and sure enough, there are Taco Doritos here in West Michigan. They were not Tacos at Midnight; but plain, orange bag Taco Doritos.

Maybe I need to ship some to the folks who live in non-Taco Dorito areas. LOL

I forgot the brand but I used to like chicken croquettes that you baked.
The box came with like 8 in it and even came with the white sauce.

I used to love them ... But the company stopped making them in the 80's

Interesting. Whataburger got me thinking about other restaurant chains that used to be popular and fell from grace. Mr. Gatti's pizza used to be THE place to play video games in the '80s. I thought they'd gone away completely, but seems there's one left in my general area. Back in the '70s, there was a Sir Pizza near us that would show movies for kids on a big-screen TV...Three Stooges, Little Rascals and Ray Harryhausen stuff.

That's because food heated in the oven always trumps microwaved stuff.

I used to love Burger King's Whaler fish sandwich! It was a big piece of fish compared to what you get now days. Also another BK thing was the Ice Burger, kind of a snow cone thing.
Dairy Queens sundaes served in a plastic mini baseball helmet!
Anything from Wiener King, they had the best hamburgers and hot dogs!
