Congratulations man, kids will change your life and your view on things forever and it is one of the best things in the world to be a good dad.
Unfortunately the stigma is there that dad's want sons, it exists everywhere. I'm ecstatic with both of my kids, a boy and a girl, 12 and 6 respectively, have been from the get-go. They are a joy and a privilege to know as people, not just my kids, but my best buddies and partners in crime.
