Moving to the Land of the Dead!

We just found a new house, as rent at our current place was going through the roof (which was in a bad way to start with).
We finally found a new one in...Worm Street. In Dutch it's Wurm Straat, which sounds just as delicious....
I guess all you zombie lovers will be thrilled.
    Can't wait until Halloween.

It's been a real pain to get a new rental home.
We have two dogs, and no landlord will accept pets here anymore!
    They're considered a liability.
I know, it's always a risk, but so are a bunch of hyperactive kids, or a drunk husband. You pay a fee in advance anyway (two months' rent), to cover any future damage.
We really had to do some serious convincing, and we had to let go of some great homes because of our "kids".
But my dogs are family, and you don't leave anyway behind!

And now we'll be in Worm Street.
I'm off to eat some brains now....

Man, what I wouldn't give to live on Shades of Death road. Worm street would do nicely, too.

How many times do you think that sign gets stolen.

3 times a year for about 20 years starting in the early 70's ........ The town finally gave up and just started calling the road "Shades Road" to stop the stealing.

This went on for about 5 years until around 1992 when the house by the sign was bought by a NJ State Trooper

He had the old name/sign put back up and nobody has stolen it since
