Candy again - Space Dust

Did anyone else have this late-'70s candy in their area? It was kinda like the droppings of Pop Rocks. Apparently they changed the name due to undesirable association with a certain illegal narcotic that was in the news at the time.

We had Space Dust in my area

I never even heard of Pop Rocks until the 80's

Yep! I remember this! My mom forbad me to eat either the Dust or the Rocks. She said she didn't know what was in them to make them pop like that, but it couldn't be good. I used to sneak it during lunch hour at school anyway. I guess she didn't know that it was just plain ole carbonation.

I remember everyone saying don't eat pop rocks with pop it'll kill you.Myth Busters proved that one wrong.Never heard of space dust.
