Only child or siblings?

Two younger brothers. My middle brother and I used to sleep in bunk beds and make up long, bizarre stories about people we knew after lights out every night. Ah, childhood.

2 bros and 2 sisters from my mom and about 40+ brothers & sisters from my dad, he's a pig

One full blooded sister...she's my best friend...and she's one of the reasons why I'm still alive today.

I also have two half sisters and a half brother (dad's side)...I'm friendly with them...but obviously not close like my full sister.

I'm an only child. I won't lie, there were times that I was lonely as a kid, but that moreso had to do with the fact that my street I grew up on was predominantly elderly folks, so there weren't alot of neighborhood kids to hang out with. I had great parents and cool cousins who I'd see on most weekends, so I always felt pretty lucky. I don't regret being an only child...however, now that I'm older I think I actually feel more lonely not having any siblings, especially when things happen like when my father died from cancer a couple years ago. The rest of my extended family are still great people, but many have moved away and have their own lives and whatnot, so they're not really around much these days and I am not really close with them. It does kinda freak me out to think that when my mom goes, I'll be pretty much alone....luckily I have a great wife who's there for me
