I've only seen about ten episodes on Netflix, but it's pretty cool. My favorite was probably the Roman Centurion vs. Rajput Warrior. Sometimes I'm not entirely convinced by the experts' expertise. I'm pretty sure some of these fighting styles were invented in the 1960s or 70s. Still interesting stuff--how often do you get to see an atlatl in action?

Joan of Arc would definitely have the weaponry advantage...despite the slow technological progress during the Middle Ages...I'm sure.

Atlatl.... not a word you often hear!
Australian Aborigines use a similar spear-thrower called a Woomera.
Havn't seen this show yet, but it sounds mighty interesting, right up my alley, in fact.
