It looks like this year will add mass combat and strategy to the mix. Tonight's show was George Washington vs Napoleon Bonaparte; next week is William the Conquerer vs Joan of Arc.

Watched the first couple of seasons, and it was entertaining for the most part.

But some of their blatant historical inaccuracies really ****ed me off. And that was even with their so called "experts" being part of the show.

Still, as a piece of pure entertainment, I suppose it works.

I've heard more than a few folks say that. Since they've only got an hour or so, I can let it slide; especially since they expose folks to considerations they normally wouldn't see. Really though, there's no definitive answer.... too many variables. (But it was neat to see the katar in action....)
