You know ...just a thought...I wonder if anyone ever considered doing a Beatles custom...Early years to Sgt Pepper would be really cool! With as much talent as is around here I'd love to see it!

Maybe he would have grooved on the music that appeared after his passing.
Maybe he would have settled down in a small town and just enjoyed life.
Maybe he might have grooved on all the new drugs that also appeared.
Maybe he could have influenced the music scene and contributed to an altogether different sound than we know today.
Maybe he could have woken up from the seventies weekend (as he seemed to be doing in 1980) and pursued his goal for peace till victory.
          Maybe.
          Maybe not.

          Will always have me wondering.

I know he and Yoko were considering a world tour around 1982 or so, but it was good that he was mellowing out. He's seen the 'rock scene', the mountain top, so to speak, so his opinion was, 'Why keep doing it..?'.

Basically, where could you go after being at the top..?

Him and Yoko were great together. I think his best contribution would be to just be to offer an 'eye on the world'-type commentary, either through song or books.

He's had his fill of Rock and Stardom. It's my impression that he simply grew out of it.

I think the Beatles reunion is a no brainer. the other 3 got together. it just took a while. once all the lawsuits were over they were playing together again.

Lennon had plenty of great music in him when he was taken from us. Paul and George kept making great hits into the late eighties. Ringo mhas had some gems in the last 10m years and Paul's last few albums have been pretty damn good. "Dance Tonight" is probably Paul's best track in 25 years.

So yeah, John would still be out there doing his thing
