Neat! I can imagine my experience would be the same as my first time on a skateboard...bad. But it sure would be fun to try. I wonder if these will catch on and then we'll get some videos of kids trying jumps with them ending in hilarious YouTube pain.

Could be pretty cool for a near-future setting action flick. Ramp up the speed on these babies, add a couple of stuntmen chasing each other through a city with guns blazing, throw in some explosions, and winner.
Not to discount toysrus' very valid point, but this might have some potential for the handicapped. A bit of rethink into the design, maybe some added safety features, and who knows? For the Japanese it's fine but most big American fatasses wouldn't fit on it very well.
