Anybody watching Justified on FX?

This is a great show; it's Cops and Robbers like you've never seen before.

It's based on characters and/or stories by Elmore Leonard. If you don't know who that is, all I can say is give it a try if you if you've seen and enjoyed any of the following movies, all based on Elmore Leonard books:

I've watched every episode and hope it gets better. I was really looking forward to this show, but it's losing me.

Sons of Anarchy it is not.

I read the initial glowing review in EW and keep trying to remember it's on.. alas, I usually remember about 20 mins in for each of the shows so far. But what I've seen has been very good.

I'm glad Tim Olyphant found another great gig after Deadwood..

I think it's a great show. The ratings have started to suffer though. I think the problem is the show lacks a overall story arc. While there does seem to be some elements of that, most episodes are just individual episodes. Which means this feels more like another cop drama (albeit completely different) then the usual FX stuff like Rescue Me, Sons of Anarcy, etc.

I think if they tied more stuff together they'd draw people in more.

The broader story arc involving Raylan Givens and the Crowders weaves through the season. Keep watching, and you'll be rewarded.

Sons of Anarchy it is not.

Yeah, I definitely don't know how to describe it. If you go in expecting it to be one of those dark side things like The Shield, The Sopranos or Sons of Anarchy, you'll be let down.

The Marshal is a straight-shooting old school cowboy, and the bad guys are bumbling goofs, colorful losers, or unpredictable psychos. Often all three.

Stories rarely play out the way I expect them to. But that's what I like about it.

I actually don't mind it being light on an arc so far. But it does look like they're going to bring back the bad guy from the pilot soon.

BUMPing this old thread for the start of the 4th season... which I completely forgot about. Oh well, I think it'll show up on-demand or the website in a few days..

I didn't like last year's season quite as much as the previous, but it's still a must-watch for me.
