      Had an awesome time watching this with my son last week.
      Very pretty and lush in the animation dept.
      We were especially fond of the food sharing scene. That one was reenacted several times over the week.
      We also now have a serious dragon fetish going on. Just about everything needs a dragon or some wings and we all can breath fire.

      good times

              there are some really fun toys for this movie as well.
              An armload of dragons, the Viking kids, role play, and jammies are WalMart exclusives;
              But, the best ones are packins for McD Happy Meals. I am not a fan of toys with soundbites, and as far as I know, these do not make any noise. Just flap their wings and let the kids do all the roaring for them. Yes!!

              Unfortunately, we don't eat at McDs all that often and our local restaurant doesn't restock their toys all that frequently anyway. I started a thread about this in the modern toys forum last week.

              If'n anybody ends up with doubles from the Happy Meals, we are dragon-happy over here. I would be glad to swap some Marvel Minis for them.
              Especially a Gronkle. For some reason, this one is the super fave for my son. Anyone got a spare Gronkle??

                  I hear nothing but good things about this movie. Want to check it out in theaters, but we spent our rare movie night out on human actors for a change (Greenberg--depressing and funny).

                    I took my teenager daughter and 5yr old son and watched it in 3d on Friday. We loved it. My wallet still hurts from the $12 tickets, but you can't put a price on a smile.

                      You won't be disappointed. I was like, "Where did this movie come from" it totally knocked my socks off, and the kids absolutely loved it. It was a great weekend....due to this Great movie, and the Italian dinner that followed.

                      Surely, will be seeing this again in Imax 3D.......Dreamworks hit a GrandSlam with this one!!!

                        It's a pretty great movie. Good humor, great visually, and a story with characters you care about.

                          I don't know about the actual movie...but the preview looked real good.
