Starsky--That's why most of the time I would rather not ask for autographs, because I want to remember the person as they were in character. I just don't want to tarnish my image or memory of the movie star.

OK...These have to get posted tonight or I'll never get to them because we are going out on a family field trip tomorrow to the Academy of Sciences to take advantage of Spring Break for the kids...

Our first photo taken before we went to the registration table. It was really cool that the registration people were yelling for Planet of the Apes to sign in with them. The guy was so excited and flustered than he wanted to give me a child's pass. He wanted to know how old I was, and I said, uh...43? He just laughed. I said it was the makeup...

Here's an impressive outfit. I like it because you're pretty much all covered up!

Lindsay Wagner. I told her that I used to watch the Bionic Woman as a little kid all the time. She was very happy about that. She also asked that I send her a photo of her with the ape family because she wanted to post it on her Facebook page. I'll have to dig up her e-mail address from my pocket...

She was such a lovely lady!

Ashton is so very little she had to hold him up so that he could be part of the photograph! I felt very guilty. Ashton must weigh like 35 pounds.

If you could see my blacked out teeth--they were flashing under my muzzle. Don Pedro Colley is such a gentleman. He made Ashton stand on a chair.

Great photos! Hope the little apes had a good time. Looking at the crowds in the backgrounds of those shots, I think I would have gotten a bit claustrophobic.
      It's all good!

Thanks for the photos Jess, looks like a fun time was had by all. I'm glad Lindsay is so nice...I always pictured her that way.

Cat, I was really afraid to approach her because I didn't want any greediness to ruin my memory of her, but she was nice! Whew.

Here are more photos--it was taking too long to upload last night.

I took some godzilla photos for Rik, but two of them are not uploading correctly and are too large. Going to have to figure out why later...

Here we are closer to the end of our stint there. Ashton was just getting comfortable with wanting to take photos with other people in costume.

Ashton was ready to chase down this guy from where we were seated while waiting for Sharry, but I told him we would probably bump into him later. Glad we bumped into him outside.

For you Batman fans out there!

Hmmm...we took a photo with Joker. I must not have uploaded that one. Will have to dig around for that later.

If I had a body like this I would totally wear this outfit!

          Other funny moments--
I met an old co-worker of mine while I was chatting to one of the vendors. I was really surprised to see him. I held out my hand and called him by name. He looked really puzzled. I said, remember me? Jessica? He didn't recognize me. Hmmm....

Some people did remember me from last year. One person I bumped into remembered me as T'Pring. I was shocked about that. He said that he never forgets a voice. Weird, huh?

          One last good bye hug...

Here is a photo of Sharry and the boys. We left around 6'ish. The boys were really really good. I'm so proud of them! I am so very glad that this time I was not the only ape in town. That made it way better and not so lonely, psychologically.

I forgot to say that I got interviewed by a Croatian television crew. Who knows if I'll ever see that one though...

Alex, that big guy is Don Pedro Colley, who played Ungaro, one of the mutants from Beneath the Planet of the Apes.

On our way to pick up Sharry, Dylan asked me if there were going to be any Planet of the Apes stuff there. I said maybe a toy here or there. He wanted to know if there would be any other apes. I told him he was it. I told him we were going to be the only apes in town, probably, and I was right. Maybe next year there may be others...It's only a matter of time and patience.

I'm glad Jess got to take pics w/ the celebs, I was too frustrated getting smothered, pushed and shoved by the crowds, I did take pics of some of them, but it was really hard to see. The also put Brent Spiner and John De Lancie away from celeb row and put them on a main aisle and then had the nerve not to let fans pose w/ them and if they weren't getting an autograph picture they'd shoo you away. (their people, not them!) I did manged to get a pic or 2 in passing. I don't know how they came out. (Heck I still have last year's pics undeveloped, I'm SO bad!)

Sharry, thank you very much for my Monsters in Filmland magazine. I read the Escape from Planet of the Apes article while in full costume, which made it so much more special!!

Sammy did treat me to a large macha green tea drink from Jamba Juice, since I was craving one. I wanted to buy one while in costume, but he said to just stay in the car. LOL!

                          Which movie star?

All the before-mentioned are television actors.

                            Thanks for the pics, Jess...awesome...

Out of those...I've only met Marina Sirtis before...she was really sweet to me...nice sexy lady.

I've always wanted to meet Lindsay Wagner...I used to have a big crush on her.

A friend of mine was flying back from Indonesia in first class back in the late 90s...and the passenger right in front of him was none other than Lindsay Wagner...he talked to her quite a bit...he said she was also very sweet.

Glad you gals had a blast...looked like it was lots of fun...
