What you mean a hollywood produce altered a script so it doesn't remotely resemble the original script....Say it aint so. Did this guy never hear of Blade runner or Running man. Neither film is remotely close to the original material

I can only imagine he is diong this to hope it spikes interest for rentals (the "I have to see if this is really that bad for this for myself"and he gets a royalty check otherwise it's about 9 years late. He got paid for the script and gave up control. Lucas made the same mistake once and the result THE STAR WARS HOLIDAY SPECIAL.

I have no idea what the original story was compared to the script - but it's normal for producers/directors/actors to request changes even after they sign on. Often scripts are being re-written right through production as well. The writer just basically works for the producer - disagreeing to do changes is a good way to get fired - that happens all the time too.

This it a textbook case of "how NOT to do a movie".
It's just bad, and not even "funny bad".

Scientologists are just ****ed that their "Passion of the Christ" starred John Travolta.

                              and was unwatchable.
