I did in the Summer because I was always proud of whatever Little League team I was on. I really loved the plastic batting helmet years and was proud to own two. One was the Pittsburgh Pirates (loved Roberto Clemente though I don't remember his playing days) and the other a Kansas City Royals (George Brett was my favorite player).

Anything sugary and non-chocolate. I didn't know what the heck Coco or Chocolate anything tasted like because I was severely allergic to chocolate until I was about 12. My folks weren't stingy about cereal, at all, so I got to try it all and never met a cereal I didn't love.

Payday or Bit o' Honey....about the only I ones I can remember having as a kid.
How much was your first weekly allowance?
Three Bucks. Had to earn it with chores, but it was enough for a Star Wars Figure and Hot Wheels each week. However, my Dad loved sports cards so he could always be talked into buying me a pack or two, Mom almost never said no to getting me Comic Books, and every week I got to go to the Saturday Matinee while Mom shopped. I made out like a bandit on three bucks.

I'm not sure why but I was (secretly) really into The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. It was a show about friendship, and I liked the theme song a lot.

All we ever had was Cheerios. Though I once scored a victory by convincing my cheapskate Dad to buy me a box of Mr. T cereal. I remember taking a bite and telling him it tasted like baby food, and then feeling bad about it afterwards
