Too bad you still don't have it. That's one of the most valuable lunch boxes around.
I don't know lunchbox prices (haven't collected in a while) but the box itself was selling in the $600+ range and the thermos about $250. Not bad for a box and thermos eh?"The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."

For me, nothin' beats MARVEL/DC lunchboxes from the 70s/80s
....always liked the DUKES one too."No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris MannixComment

This was the only lunchbox I ever had when I was a kid:
I was mainly a brown bagger
I can say that looking back on it I used to envy the kids that had the Planet Of The Apes Lunchboxes. These days I am still looking for the Yellow Submarine Lunch Box with Thermos. I had a chance a while back to pick one up at an antique store that looked like it was never used...for $200. I passed it up and when I went back it was gone...and to make things worse the guy at the counter said that the Lunch Box had the Thermos insideComment
