Never happened to me but IMO it sounds like it might be a ruse from someone trying to get you to change details (through their bogus link)

well i actually use my link to paypal that i always use..and it lets you log in but freezes any transactions..... because the bogus login attempt?... ive checked paypal site and it does say any bogus transferes are investigated and full refunds given..i did go through the motions what paypal tell you to do..which did put my account back to normal...all is fine with the funds..but it did the same again today as i mentioned....ive now took the restriction off again...... mmmmm

Hey Scoth70,if you get any email or anything from paypal, they should address you in your full name and surname, anything else is a scam,i have had this a few times and sent the scam mail to paypal to deal with.

If you get anything again just copy paste the scam mail and send it them.

If it sounds fishy, and it smells fishy...I would give Paypal a call and put on some waders.

Yeah if you ever get any wacky emails, just go to your PayPal account (not through any email links) and see if everything is okay.

I get emails all the time from "PayPal" that my account is messed up and I need to change the password... But when I go to PayPal, nothing of the sort is going on. It's a scam sent via email (usually with a legit PayPal address) that is trying to steal your account info.

It's terrible that people would do that sort of thing. Be careful and vigilante!

OR YOU REACHED YOUR paypal money limit and will not allow anymore transactions.

i have had that happen but all you do is upgrade to primeir account and must have a credit card and then its fine. I had to add a credit card so i went out got one added it then cut the card up and cancelled with the card company i dont believe in credit companys i think they are why the economy is the way it is they want you to spend more then you can afford

My wife and I committed to getting rid of all "credit" a few years ago. Eliminating the banks hold on our finances was the best financial move we ever made. Today we live on cash: living beyond our means, means if we don't have the cash to pay for it. We have never had more money in the bank, had fewer bills, or more financial security.
