I heard marzipan is really popular there.

I never tried it -- is it any good ?

its very nice very sickly but very nice

perfect blend on a fruit cake, smothered in marzipan and topped in icing sugar

we also have a wonderfull little slab of cake here called battenburg not sure if you have it there but thats a treat in itself

Nah, I can have some sweets in moderation. Unfortunately I can't eat peanuts or peanut butter any more and I am now lactose intolerant as well.
