...On Fuse right now. Peter Gabriel is a complete WANKER!!! Didn't even show up for the award. I've lost COMPLETE respect for him. The excuse was that he was rehearsing for his new tour. That's a complete joke. No wonder Genesis wanted him out. Freakin' prima donna. It's a shame really. You'd have thought enough time passed to get over this pettiness. Hell, the last time there was a Genesis re-union they did the show to benefit Gabriel's World Studio/Records because it fell on hard times. Funny thing is I would have paid to have seen another re-union...Doesn't seem like that's ever gonna happen.

Side note...Phish did an AMAZING!! version of "Watcher Of The Skies"

KISS will make it some day. It took them forever to induct Lynyrd Skynyrd. I don't really have a problem with any of the choices this time (even ABBA). Most years they choose someone that makes me wonder about their sanity JOHN

I;m a HUGE KISS fan---but I put ABBA at pretty much the same level if not
higher---I mean they STORMED the pop charts compareed to KISS' presence
there....yes KISS were solid on other aspects but still...ABBA gets an A+++ for songwriting

Peter Gabriel is an artist,and shows lots of artistic eccentricity.

I couldn't even consider watching it with ABBA getting in instead of KISS. Not to take anything away from ABBA's accomplishments but it is the ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME, and ABBA is about as far from Rock and Roll as you can get. If there was a Disco hall of fame that would be fine.

Got teased for admitting to liking ABBA, but TOTALLY agree on the song writing. I don't really care for grunge, Metal, etc, but if any band can be good in any style of music (even stuff I don't personally like), I really respect 'em.

Love ABBA's writing, but especially their nice, clean productions. Beautiful song arrangements. They knew how to get good, solid, infectious hits on the radio..
