                    Watching it as a kid it seemed perfect and flawless, but watching it today it just doesn't seem that likely the Doobies would be very popular in South Central LA even in the 70's

                          Hmmmmm...I figure they are "kinda" R&B and McDonald had that
                          soulful "urban" vocal going on IMO... but what do I know?

                          But anyways, I guess I'm mainly talking about the jokes, the gags and the
                          musical numbers that were solid in that episode....the Doobies weren't
                          actors but I thought they were good troupers throughout regardless.

                          Also, I really love the actor that played the main bootlegger...he also played
                          a recurring cool pimp opn GOOD TIMES.
