Need advice on buying a bootleg TV show on DVD.

I've been PM'ing anyone who asks. I don't want the show's name associated with the discussion about undermining someone who sells it.

And it's not 'Holmes and Yo-Yo.' But it should be.

maybe but if so the seller's business model is built badly. Ebay clearly indicates you aren't allowed to sell copies of any copyrighted material (they even use cdr and dvdr in the statement). I even had an auction pulled because I offered to include a free dvdr of the videotape I was selling.
If seller is so concerned there are other avenues (Ioffer and sell for instance) who turn a blind eye to it.

I saw all but 1.5 episodes.
Ahh, the days before VCRs. I can still remember being mad at my Mom for not telling me it was on! She would have had to call my friends house. No VCR. No DVR. No Cell phones. How did we survive?

I would just 'wait him out'.. If it's that rare of a show, then after getting a smattering of interest, he'll lower the prices.

If no interest, no recouping cash for him..

I would have strongly suggested that he sell it to me for $20 or I'll hit the "report item" button on the bottom of his page.

That's just greedy asking so much money for something that costs very little for him to duplicate. It's sure not like he's paying expensive licensing fees or anything.

Now that I know I have alternatives for buying, I'm content to consider that guy free to be all the idiot he wants.
