Yeah he was a lost soul.

My friend's wife used to run a health food shop, she said a few years back this guy came in looking for a job. She asked for a resume and he said "Lost Boys", it was Haim looking for a clerk's job in Toronto. She didn't hire him.

yeah... I'm mixed on it. I liked his movies but i tend not to have too much sympathy for hollywood people that end up drugged out and OD. they all the money in the world to get help.. and no from Dr. Drew on tv either...

That's a real pity. Whatever his issues may have been, 38 is entirely too young. May he find the peace that eluded him in life.

Well I am a bit suprised. He was way too young. He could have had a bright future if he never found drugs.

I always thought Corey Feldman would've been the first to check out....

I think this may be connected with the death/suicide, of his good friend Andrew Koenig, who starred on Growing Pains with him. I think it's likely Corey Haim became depressed after his friend was discovered dead and probably turned to drugs. He may not have intended necessarily to OD but that's the way it turned out.

It's still sad to see someone die at that age.
