I almost hit a Bald Eagle !!!

Was driving along side the river a little while ago and upcame a bald eagle with a fish in his beak swooped right across and barely missed my windshield... He must have been scared too because he dropped his fish on my hood

I've heard of hitting deer, bear, skunks, groundhogs, mushrats, snakes, turkeys etc ........ but NEVER a bald eagle

My grandpa killed a wild boar once with his army jeep, a friend of mine a seagull and another friend of mine once hit a cow on the road. Result: steaks were flying through the air and his car was totalled.

I'm kind of embarrassed to admit this but I hit a DEAD deer once with my pick-up

It was about 5:30 in the morning (still dark) and I was going around a bend about 60 MPH and suddenly I seen it.
It was too late to swirve around so without hesitation I instinctively tried to straddle it between my tires.
It actually worked .... Didn't even bust my oil pan

Did no damage to the glass.Saw a lot of feathers in the rearview tho.
