Did Magnum die at the end of the show?
If I remember right, they did a final episode where he died, and then they decided to do another season. He got better, went through the season, found out he had a son, and re-upped with the Navy I believe.

If Star Trek TOS had lasted five years, it would have been nice to have seen the characters go their separate ways...and also would have worked to set up TMP even better. The DC comic series covered the end of the 5 year mission well.

I kind of liked Quantum Leap's oddball ending. It was very ethereal, and what it really meant was up for debate. I assumed Sam had died in the initial experiment and was a ghost/angel.

Justice League Unlimited had two endings, and both were excellent. No small feat.

I don't want to hear any moaners here, but I'd like to see Smallville end with that fabled shot of Welling in the suit flying off. Or perhaps even an appearance by Dr. Fate or the Phantom Stranger or someone who tells Clark his timeline is all out of whack, and the final episode sets things right within the Superman canon.

That was my favorite ending of a series. I also like that The Wire just stopped like the end of a regular season, things were still going on as they normally would.
Another favorite was the second and final season of Get A Life where Chris died at the end of every episode for the entire year.

Honestly? I think that was just the cliffhanger. When Blake died, it was bloody. No doubt that he died.
The rest? Just stunned. By the fact that the network cancelled the show....

I think they should end 24 with Bauer finally getting the time to go the toilet.
The last scene would show the toilet door, and you hear Bauer say "aaaah, finally......"

It would have turned out alot better if finding earth was the end not the beginning of a second season / redesigned show. The fish out of water stories of Gal 1980 got real old real fast

I don't normally watch Dexter until it comes out on dvd. This season I know a guy that burned it onto dvd's while watching it. So I finished the season last weekend.
