    I don't like meat in the sauce for 2 reasons .....

    1. It makes the sauce too watery

    2. It gives the sauce a kind of watery oily taste

      I cant eat red sauce but back when i could it was spicy sausage.

          I'd have to go with Italian sausage like many already said. A friend's wife puts oysters in the spaghetti when she makes it. Needless to say I never visit on spaghetti night.

                    Our favorite non-marinara recipe is borrowed from Nordstrom's cafe: pasta, roasted tomatoes & goat cheese in a garlic/butter/rosemary sauce. Add to that the meat of a chicken just out of the smoker.

                        I don't think your draining your meat correctly ..., or something, because I don't seem to have the same problem ...
