Congrats and best wishes for a happy life together.
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."
I go back to DW maybe twice a year... Epcot is the best for adults with booze and good food...and less children running amok (less crowded in general).
Perfect place to pop the question.
Did you go to the Visitor Center at the front of the park? If you tell them you just got engaged, it's your first trip, you're on your honeymoon, etc... they'll give you a free giant button/pin that announcing to everyone why you are there.
For example, if you just got engaged they'll give you a pin that says "Just Engaged!" or it's your anniversary "ANNIVERSARY"...(you don't need proof) and the park castmembers will treat you differently, sometimes moving you to the front of the line.
If it's your first visit you get a "First Time" button and everyone is super kind...beyond their normal "Disney" kindness.
Congrats Andy. I had the ring in my drawer for a while too, before I finally proposed. I totally know how it is. Best wishes to you both.
"Steel-like jaws clacked away, each bite slashing flesh from my body - I used my knife and my hands, and when they were gone, my bloody stumps - and yet the turtles came."
That's awesome Andy, big congrats to you sir!
And I can relate to the whole getting the father's blessing deal, no easy task, I'm sure you're glad you got that over with.
