    Speaking of King Features

    Does anyone remember this? BLONDIE!

They played these in sindication in the 70's. Of course they were only 35 years old at the time.

That was the adaption of the long running movie series with Penny Singleton as Blondie. There was also a 1957 series starring Pamela Britton as Blondie that lasted one season and a 1968 series that also lasted one season that had Patricia Hardy as Blondie

If my memory serves me right Channel 5 here in NY gave them on Saturday mornings in the 70's

I think the 1957 series still had Arthur Lake as Dagwood?

I wish all of those movies would come out on DVD. I don't think I've seen anything about them. I used to watch those all the time as a kid.
              It's all good!

Yes! I loved watching these every Sunday afternoon when I was a kid. I think they showed on WFAA out Dallas/Ft. Worth. Saw every one of 'em!

Wow! I had forgotten about enjoying these as a kid. Its interesting how many old movie series made it into syndication during our childhood.
