Hey MegoRonin - you're friends work is really nice, but as a graphic designer I would warn her that entering contests like this hurt her (and the design industry) in the long run.

It's basically a way for companies to get work for free.

Having said that, I voted for her design, but if she's serious about making a career out of this I hope she rethinks doing this kind of thing. Here's a great site for her to check out: NO!SPEC

some others obviously are soliciting votes for their favorite logos as well at other places...there is NO WAY that pea pod logo or that pear logo are better than your friends Nate.

Yup Totally in agreement as an Illustrator who's freelanced for twenty years I do nothing for free nor do I enter any contest...you put in a lot of work and you may not even win......Say no to Spec.

Thanks everybody. I know it's soliciting votes, but as mego spidey said, the pea pod is obviously doing it too. I like a couple of the other ones, ok, but that pea is all dingy and gray, and the peas look like 8-balls.

A first glance it looks very modern but the more I look at it the more it looks like a big green nose. Anyone else see this?
