An absolute tragedy. I'm one of the countless fans that have met and spoken to Walter Koenig at SF conventions over the past 25 years. He is a gracious and friendly gentleman. My heart goes out to him, his wife and his entire family. It was just a month or so ago when I was showing a friend Sandy Collora's excellent short film, Batman: Dead End. Andrew Koenig did a wonderful job as the Joker.

Depression is no joke...I went through a period of that (not as severe though)...nothing...and I mean nothing...makes you enjoy anything...I really feel for the guy...and especially for Walter.

                  RIP.

I too have been right at that place in my life before and Hector is absolutely right about how depression affects a person's outlook about everything.
                      Very sad.

At least Walter Koenig can finally put his boy to rest, and begin the long process of moving forward.

Having his son missing, and knowing the state of mind he was in when he disappeared, I'm sure he knew how this ordeal was going to end, as horrible as that is.

My heart goes out to Andrew Koenig's family.

May his life be more than a small footnote in the history of this world.

That's indeed all it will be....he wasn't a vital part of his career field
by any stretch of the means to ask for anything more than that.
But I think what's more important is hoping his family and friends the
                          best in this situation. RIP
