I will be the first to admit I'm a little bias in my views because the Patriots are the best football team on the planet. I say this so you understand what side I'm on. There is no coincidence that this takes place in the first game after the Patriots were on the short end of one of the biggest turnaround comebacks in the playoffs against Indy. This decision will hurt other teams far more than it will hurt the Patriots. I won't say they didn't do it, I'm just saying there is no way they are the only team in the league that was doing it. Mangini made no friends with other teams by doing this either. Not only will this affect the rule in gneral but now the league will be watching everything thats done all season. I guarantee somewhere this season Belicek will use this to his advantage. Now that precedent is set, nobody is going to chance doing this and getting a $500,000 dollar fine. Either way it had no affect on last weeks game and since the Jets looked pathetic and they're the only competition in the division I guess it's off to the playoffs again.

it was and is a league wide thing thats why the nfl sent out notes before the season started saying dont do this.new england being arrogant and cocky said we are doing it anyways. do i think they are the only ones doing this or who have done it hell no.

yeah it's a known fact other teams do it,but no one was stupid enough use a camera to tape it,I just don't see the logic in doing this to team you were going to beat anyways,save it for the play-offs or Indy

the tape was probally going to be used at halftime to make adjustments. but the tape didnt helpa s they took it in the first qauter and the game was close then. it was only the second half they blew the jets away. mike

Mitch, you're right.

It is never right to cheat...period. No excuse. However, whether it's NASCAR, the NFL, or the steroid problem in MLB, it ain't cheating unless you get caught. Cheating is the status quo and the only way one can be competitive is to cheat and the only crime is to get caught.

I think it sucks.

Real life seems to be that way, too.

The only course of action one can take is to do what is right (not cheat), watch everyone who is cheating have the short-term success, and be one of the good guys standing when the cheaters get caught.
