Anyone else watch Ghost Adventures on the Travel Channel ?

This has got to be the funniest BUT also strangely compelling show to watch out there

Their audio equiptment ghost sound bites are a riot

Enhanced audio you hear almost nothing, maybe wind ..... BUT, they tell you what they think the ghost is saying

The reason it's interesting is these guys actually put on a pretty good show and they seem to generally believe they are in the centre of spooks

One show that really let me down was when the one guy got possessed -- it ruined the shows already shakey credibility, imo.

Anybody else seen this show ?

I watch it on occasion. It's one of my guilty pleasures. I prefer Celebrity Ghost stories better.

What makes me laugh the most is when a piece of dust or bug goes by and it's "Look! A ghost!"

Its better than some of the other shows that are similar.You gotta laugh at some of the stuff the think is there.

I met all the guys from Ghost Adventures last September when Circus Envy and I did Scarefest in Lexington. Aaron is awesome! Here's a commissioned piece I'm working on for him:

He really liked my artwork in the Circus Envy book and asked if I could do that one for him while he was chatting with us. Great guy. I actually had never heard of their show and started watching it after I got home. It's pretty good. I started the West Ky Ghost Hunters back about 10 years ago so it's right up my alley.

I know a guy that does this stuff here in New England as a hobby. He likes it. Sitting in old buildings surrounded by expensive equipment all night long, waiting for a mosquito to fart so they can jump around and say it was a ghost. It's kinda odd for me as I have no problem believing ghosts could exist but some how can't get a grip on people that chase them. Love stuff on supernatural happenings but laugh at most of the things that happen on these shows.

The one on Sy Fy isn't too bad because there are times they try to disprove things.
