    Fantastic Mr. Fox

I'm a big Wes Anderson fan and I love stop-motion animation, so I was really excited for this movie. For some reason when the trailer came out I didn't think it looked very enjoyable.

How wrong I was! Last week I actually saw it in a rep theatre and loved every second of it.

    Anyone else?

I read the book as a kid, so I'm going to get it for my kids.

I saw it when it was released a few months back. It was a nice movie but not as good as I thought it was going to be. I think you have to be in the right mood for the quirky humour. I am going to watch it again at some point as I want to give it another chance.

I'm sure the kids will love it.

i'd be shocked if any kids like this.

          Dry as toast.

My kids liked it. There's enough cute animal stuff to keep most kids interested and there are some downright funny things in there.

I didn't find it dry at all - I thought it was a very unusual and fun movie - but I'm also surprised that your kids like it. I just didn't know if it would mean anything to kids at all. I'll probably try it out on my nieces when I get the DVD.

At the very least it'll expose them to The Stones' "Street Fighting Man".
