There were local Romper Room shows across the country I think but most people are probably familiar with the run (Romper Room and Friends) that was broadcast on WOR-TV out of New Jersey in the early 80s. Miss Molly (McCluskey) was the host. My younger cousin loved the show so much his parents flew him to NJ and he appeared on an episode around '83 or so.
When I was a kid I remember the host was Miss Sally....even got a Mr. Doo-Bee postcard "she" sent me.....
I met Miss Louise at her goodbye party in Central Park in '72 I think. She signed my postcard of her and Mr. Doobee, and gave me a hand puppet.

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic

Dr Who, definitely! We had it on PBS on weekends (the time moved around a lot) shown movie-style, and during the week on TVO as a half-hour show. When I was in high-school they'd show it as a movie Sunday night.... around Midnight. Used to watch it with the gang.
I forgot about Dr. Who! I can't remember when that fit into the line-up....it might have been after Zoom at 6:30 weekdays. On Sundays, they'd show a whole arc.

Here in NJ, Doctor Who played on PBS every Saturday Night at 9:00 ... They played the full stories... WNJT Trenton was the station... I think they played Who from around 1980 to 1985-ish.
Before that, a local independent station WOR-9 used to play Who's on Saturday morning.
