    4:00 Sesame Street
    5:00 Mr Rogers Neighborhood
    5:30 Electric Company
    6:00 Zoom

I think prior to Zoom showing up the 6:00 slot was given to Hodge Podge Lodge

Big Blue Marble I don't remember on PBS....I remember it being a weekend (Sunday?) show in syndication on local channels

Another PBS one I liked is Vegetable Soup

There were local Romper Room shows across the country I think but most people are probably familiar with the run (Romper Room and Friends) that was broadcast on WOR-TV out of New Jersey in the early 80s. Miss Molly (McCluskey) was the host. My younger cousin loved the show so much his parents flew him to NJ and he appeared on an episode around '83 or so.

When I was a kid I remember the host was Miss Sally....even got a Mr. Doo-Bee postcard "she" sent me.....

I was thinking the same thing. Seems to me it was one of those shows that was on after the cartoons had ended, like noonish.

Just checked....Big Blue Marble was a syndicated show....so IF you saw it one PBS, your local station probably purchased it. It WASN'T a PBS production.

I remember watching it on PBS when we'd visit my Grandmother in the summers. Same as Que Pasa USA?.

I don't remember Que Pasa USA? being on in NY when I was little, nor Red Dwarf.
(Although now that I think about it, I don't remember seeing RD til the late 80's early 90's)

Sesame Street, Mister Rogers, Electric Company, Villa Allegre, Big Blue Marble, Hodege Podege Lodge and ZOOM. I remember Carracolendas airing on CBS early Saturday and/or Sunday morning.

Yeah I used to stay up late on Saturday nights to sneak a peek at Benny Hill and sometimes WWF wrestling (when it wasn't pre-empted by Racing from Yonkers ) back in the late 70s/very early 80s
