You know Thomas this is really my fault but Brian was the first person that I talk on making my suits but because it was a bucks cheaper....well looks what happens.Cheaper isn't always better.

I guess so Anthony...I guess so.Agreed....I'm not really one to dis someone else's custom work but that Mr. Freeze is not that good of a custom...
in fact, I do believe Matt has been trying to unload that for quite some time, like almost two years in fact:
(Matt has since taken down pics in one of his hissy fits...) So obviously it's not that great if he still has it
and you'd be stuck with a lemon, Eric, if you accepted that in lieu of getting your suits.
I think it's crappy that this guy was CONSTANTLY soliciting for custom suit commissions and now can't come
through with the goods.
You might have to chalk this up as "lesson learned" Eric and move on....

I am so sorry you got burned by this!
I know I've pushed suit sales a little. My last one took a while to finish. My buyer was more than patient! I finished them, sent them on their way, and he was happy.
I still feel crappy that he had to wait. But he got them.
I can safely say I've completed all my suit sales!
I've even redone some due to problems I didn't see coming! And this was after the buyers got them!
These were on my Khan suits. The last remake I solved the problem! I still pulled them from my "regular" line for lack of interest from buyers.Wants, original parts; thinking...
It's the quiet ones you gotta watch!

I'm sure you Matt, texasfett, and just about everybody round here
are basically good guys....still...some people have to try to temper
their sensitivity a bit so that business relationships on these boards
can survive and thrive instead of break down and evaporate.
When you and I first "met" Matt you knew I collected customs and
so you explained to me about your suit making/suit selling stuff----
and I explained I wasn't interested in the style of suit that you were offering,
no matter how good it was made or how affordable the price was.
I detected that you took offense to that...or at the very least were making
what some would term "a hard sell"....meaning if you weren't offended
by my tastes in figure clothes, your overly persistent sales demeanor
sure made it feel that way...
I guess what I'm trying to say is that this whole whole blowup between you
and texasfett contains much of the same roughshod attituide you
showed me a while back, merely for not being interested in your product.
I'm posting this because I'd like to state publically that business deals around
here should always be handled with the utmost respect towards one another
...if not, it exponentially makes everyone involved in this stuff look immature

and I'd hate to see the whole community buying/selling diminish because

I got an email from Matt yesterday....telling me he is trying to put together enough cash to ship my items (2 suits / ordered about 2 months ago).....he said he was having some money problems due to the new baby, and his sewing machine was broken.....I will give him a few more days....then start calling him at home.Comment

Matt, It isn't some random flame war attacking you for no reason. Fett gave it plenty of time, and you had plenty of time to deliver. You know we aren't all a bunch of jerks or whatever, and coming up with a bunch of excuses doesn't make it all better. If your sewing maching is broken then you refund the money. If you had a kid and can't do custom work, then refund the money. If you mailed them but can't find a reciept/delivery confirmation, then refund the money. If your Mom's got lost on the way to the Post Office, then refund the money. Nobody on here has time to make up crap like this just to mess with you for no reason.
Matt, I've stayed out of these type of threads, mostly, and in the past I've defended you, talked up your stuff and even tried you help you out a little by purchasing a couple things, but there is no excuse for this type of behavior. Now you're blaming everyone else for what is obviously your problem.
So money is so tight that you can't afford to ship a padded envelope which someone else already paid for? That's just wrong, bro. You need to make good with people who paid money for your product, THEN decide to pull the plug and disappear or whatever.
