I actually scene them together, or here or there several times yrs back when I worked Graveyard ..., and would shop for Star Wars in the Morning ... ,.. I scene 2 of them a yr ago ..., same stuff.

Go Try and Get a Battle Cat and Trap Jaw from Matty tommorrow Morning ..., if your Lucky ..., right after they sell out ..., Cruise to Ebay,.. and check them all out .., with some seller's Having 10+ .


Go try and Get a Figure At SDCC ..., if you get 1, Hats off ..., either way, go to Ebay And check out the Dude Who Magically Has 20 of the 1 you wanted for 5x as Much .

When this thing 1st came out people on ebay were selling it for 135+ ... Unreal !!! ... Then about 6 months after the fact, till now,.. it's seemingly worthless. Funny stuff there... I actually saw these at Toysrus .. there was at least 7to10 on the Shelf..., went back the next day to see if I could snag 1, after I scene the prices for them...,all Gone. I'd bet the same Dude bought them all.

How come the 66 Hotwheel Batmobile seems to still be hard to get anywhere ? ... I only ever saw it once..., I think it was just put out.

They are there .. big time, and the Internet allows these people to get so much more for something than could ever be done before.

They are still around but not as much in my area. A few years ago they were as thick as locusts and drove me up the wall but the market seems to have collapsed. They do seem to gravitate towards the DCU stuff.

I was shocked today ... I had 2 hours to kill between a couple classes, so I hit Toys R Us ... and I found the 1:18th Hot Wheels Batmobile. Then I realized the reason they weren't gone is because they were located in the Super Hero area and not the Die Cast. On my way to pay for one, some guy said I was lucky to find one, and I told hime there were 3 more. As I was pulling out of the parking lot, I saw he bought the 3 that were left. I shouldn't have told him

Hmm... I could mention that I've seen a number of people buying large numbers of figures from mattycollector.com, just so they can turn around and sell them at higher prices.

Toy shows are filled with Matty Collector He Man stuff, so I assume that's the new thing.

The last scalper I encountered was in the Hot Wheels aisle, when he tried to push my then three year old son out of the way. He rethought this position and left when Daddy wondered out loud if he could pull a moustache off.

There seem's to be alot of Hot Wheels scalpers about,there over here too,they are even scalping the Hot Wheels in the local supermarkets.
