So what character Valentines are you kids taking to school tomorrow?

Break out the Hershey's kisses and heart shaped suckers, Valentine's Day is near. And since it's on a Sunday, most schools are celebrating tomorrow (Friday). So what character Valentine cards will your little ones tote w/ them? Did they make homemade? With crayons or on the computer? Are they bringing any treats?

I printed out my Valentines for my pre-schoolers just now, and I think I'll stop at Walgreens tomorrow on the way to work for some Hershey's Kisses or something.

One of the BIGGEST mistakes in my life was not picking up a cheap box of Magic Johnson kiddie valentines I say discounted at Walgreens, and giving them out as an adult.

Nothing says love like big basketball stars..

Yep, tackiness on more than just a few levels here.

Ditto. Super Hero Squad was a distant second.

              Hmmmm....

Last year I saw a Godzilla set. Shoulda picked 'em up. You think giant basketball stars epitomize the season, howzabout a 50 storey high atomic lizard?

Ashton and Ethan are giving out Spongebob stuff, and Dylan has pixie sticks from willie wonka.

Ethan's bringing orange segments for his treat since he has to stick to healthy snacks per the teacher's guidelines.

Dylan and Ashton are bringing home-baked (fresh from the box mix!) funfetti flavored heart-shaped cupcakes:

Samples of my work are found here: Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness

                To do list:
1:6 boots for Mathilda, 1:1 Romulan Commander outfit, Ursus helmet; Cornelius appliance
                1:9 scale ape's new suit for Cornelius;

                  Excellent Idea!

I don't know if Godzilla ever died from HIV like Mr. Johnson (part of the icky, yet subtle charm..), but you're on the right track!

Theres an old saying that if you go shopping for colone or perfume you should bring someone of the opposite gender with you to help. Maybe that's true for kiddie Valentines cards too!

My daughter instructed me to get her Phineas & Ferb valentines (which I did). And honestly, I like the show as well!

I told her I couldn't find them and got her Big Bang Theory valentines that had Sheldon on them...I thought she was going to cry. Never joke about something that serious with an 8 yr old girl!

We found one box of B&B valentines at Meijer and snagged them. They are cool lenticular/flicker cards!
