No longer do you need to sit through stuff you've never heard and give it a chance -- today you go right to the songs you want without even hearing the others.

You'll never see a Sgt Pepper or Dark Side of the Moon ever again... Today's music buyers only want the icing on top and forget about the rest of the cake.
It's funny because some of my favorite songs from artists are the ones they don't release. but yeah the internet killed MTV plus the birth of reality programs with "the Real world". too much stuff online now so all niche networks have to go crazy trying all kinds of stupid things.

Do people actually remember how fun it used to be to turn on Mtv and see videos all day long? I remember how amazing that was.
Then my step father hooked up the station through the stereo and we used to crank those songs.

Now, you are lucky to see videos on there once every hour. Reality shows and vulgar rap crap. Mtv should change their logo because they no longer represent the original Mtv. It is is pure rubbish.

I think even that is a stretch....I don't even know when/where to look on there to find music videos anymore.

VH1 you can count on a Top 20 block on the weekend, that's about it.....
